About Hazel Meares

Hazel is the founder of ‘I Am Bible Distribution Centre’ a non-for-profit organisation established in 2010 whose vision is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, encourage and motivate spiritual growth in Zimbabwe. 'I Am' Bible Distribution Centre runs three projects:

The "Youth Stay in School Empowerment Program" whose mission is to encourage and empower students to stay in school and help them fulfill their destiny through the distribution of bibles, christian literature payment of fees, sponsoring of sport activities, leadership programs and conferences.

The "Prisoners Liberty Empowerment Program" whose mission is to help reform and rehabilitate prisoners through the distribution of bibles and Christian literature.

The "Ukudla/Kudya Feeding Program" whose mission is to help feed the poor in our community by providing a basic meal and help them to pursue better lives.

She is also the co-founder of "For Such a Time as This" FSSAT, a christian television program that helps women. The television programs vision is to motivate and encourage women from all walks of life to ARISE from the darkness in which they have been sitting and mourning as female captives, to a life of purpose and destiny. A call to Women to "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. Isaiah 60:1 (NIV).

She is also the proud owner of Cafe Munandi, a Zimbabwean family run restaurant in the heart of Bulawayo, that exudes the traditional ethnic Ndebele charm of the beautiful Country. Café Munandi is upscale, but welcoming to locals offering quality foods with a price to suit most budgets. We welcome everyone from small groups, to large groups, families and couples.

Hazel is not ashamed of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and believes that God has anointed her in this season to preach the Gospel through Television, Books, Teaching Material, Mentoring Workshops and Conferences.
